Plein Air Painting

Going outside to paint on a pretty day is something I enjoy. Starting with a small, white canvas, I don’t sketch or worry too much about accuracy — I just go for capturing how the landscape makes me look closer at shapes and tones of color and have fun with it. Once you get back inside, you can always touch up some areas if you want…which on this one I probably will. Acrylic on canvas – 10 x 8 inches.
