Goodbye Sweet Girl

Because she shares my studio space, I tend write a lot about my bunny on this site. Now though, I want to take a few minutes to focus on this sweet girl. Cameo came to us from Tennessee in 2002. She was one of a large litter of pups. While we were visiting a farm where she was born, she attached herself to my husband right away. All the rest of the litter was running around all over the place, but she kept close to him. So, we brought her home.

She passed away this past week at home with us. We cared for her until she crossed the “rainbow bridge”. While my heart is sad from the loss, I have to find comfort in the way her life was – long and good. She was almost 18. She traveled with us quite a bit, enjoying car trips, hikes and even loved the ocean. She was happy and had a full life. We were blessed to have known her. RIP sweet Cameo. You will be missed.
