Bio

Lisa Clements is from Boone, North Carolina. Lisa grew up on a small farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains where she learned to have a great appreciation and love for nature and creating.

After graduation from Watauga High School, Lisa left Boone to pursue an education in what was then called “Commercial Art”. She attended Randolph Technical College and earned an Associate in Applied Science degree. Upon graduation, Lisa was hired by SAS Institute Inc, a Fortune 500 software development company in Cary, NC.

Lisa worked with SAS for over 10 years, resigning with the title of Senior Visual Communications Designer. Then, as a freelance graphic designer in the triangle area of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, Lisa worked with agencies, design firms and small to medium sized companies. She returned to her home in Boone in 2000. Her studio is located on her small farm where she pursues her love of art, design and illustration.

In 2020, Lisa wrote and illustrated a picture book that she self published on Amazon.com
The book, “Spend the Day with Celeste and Yvette”, features her two real life pets.
