Yes, Yadkinville has an art museum! We went “off the mountain”, as we say here, to see an exhibit of miniature paintings. It is a small museum, but very nice with some good art including mosaics. This is a great book! It looks like a big, thick book to read. But things are not always what they appear to be! Suitable and interesting for children and adults!

Sometime in the mid 1990’s, David Byrne performed in Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh. It was a great show. I got this funny fan kit. 

This weekend we went somewhere I’ve been wanting to go since I first learned about it earlier this year…Pearl Fryar’s Topiary Garden in Bishopville, South Carolina.
