Do you like miniatures?
I didn’t realize until recently how many tiny things I’ve collected along the way in my 50+ years. It’s a half century’s worth of random stuff. Featured here are these little objects (everything is 2 inches or smaller) for your enjoyment and inspiration! I’ll post every day, or as often as I can! (project ran from 3-13 to 7-20)
Well, I would not doubt that I’ve got even more minis tucked around here and there…but for now, I must end the daily mini project with this collection of pigs. It is the denouement!
Unlike a traditional denouement though, I have no plot lines drawn in conclusion or matters resolved. I just have other things to attend to, and this is the end of the ones that I found and collected randomly in a box that make up this running post of miniatures.
I started this when the first shock of realizing we should take the covid virus seriously came in our collective consciousness as Americans. As in, it wasn’t just another “flu bug” or that it would just go away. Keep hanging in there!
I hope you stay safe through the rest of this tumultuous year, and Stay Creative!!! 🙂
7-19 What a tiny bunny!
7-1 A new month, an mini elephant and a grapefruit.
6-30 And with this little set of binoculars, we will bid June adieu!
6-28 – This little shelf is only about 1.75 inches tall, so you can imagine how teeny the flower pot is!
6-13 Since it is June, it is fitting I ran across these two. Actually, I found the bride awhile back, and I sat her aside hoping her groom would turn up. And he did. These are very old cupcake toppers that I saved from someone’s bridal shower somewhere along the way. I don’t remember who now. I have a lot of older cousins, so it was probably one of them. The bride is looking a little worse for the wear. The top of her gown has worn off and she looks topless! Oh well…likely their tiny wedding would have been cancelled anyway.
6-7 – Some miniature vintage bottles.
6-5 One of the smallest of all these odd little objects. A teeeeeenie mouse asleep on a teenie chair.
6-4 This year is moving on.
5-30 I didn’t “collect” this little froggy, but he is mini and cute so it counts! 🙂
5-3 April has left us and now we’re into May. Finally the weather is warmer and sunny, so I’ve been outside more and have missed a few days! Here’s two for one. 🙂
4-29 Even the baby on the little, toy food is praying!
I’ve decided to drop the 2020. So happy 411. What’s the info Easter Bunnies?
This is is really old and kind of strange. It is very small – .75 inches tall. So hard to get a good shot. Today was a strange day though, so I’m going with it.
“Sarah, Can you get me the Sheriff’s office?”
I missed two days! I’m not even sure why…I’ve been at home doing whatever and somehow the day gets away from me. I’m not going anywhere for the time being. I hope you are safe wherever you are. It helps those brave souls on the “front lines”, who have to show up, for the rest of us to stay in and out of the way.
3-24-2020 ~ I missed yesterday, so here are two! Once the bunnies came up, I searched out the funky chickens to go with! Seeing signs of Springtime here.
3-21-20 That gingerbread man is a bit intimidating to only be 3/4 of an inch tall!
3-17-2020 – This little fella wishes you a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
3-15-2020 – A little world made in a parfait cup. This tiny hedgehog lives in a tiny house. I made this one too. Polymer clay, paint, craft moss and paper flower.
