I’ve decided to turn an area here where I live into a fun dog park. I love dogs. I’ve had so many. I’ll list them in order of appearance; Skippy, Boo, Binker, Pokey, Rocky, Ringo, Ginger, Zoe, Cameo and Dante.

That was fun remembering them all. And, I’ve known many other great ones that belong to friends. After losing those last two, I decided I’d go without a dog for awhile and let myself settle into a new phase. I went for a couple of years with so much loss of friends and family (which my dogs are family too), and I just didn’t have it in me to get another dog. After about a year of intense grief (which still comes and goes – if you know you know), I decided to get a pet rabbit from the local humane society. If you’ve ever met a rabbit person, then you know they’ll go on and on about the rabbit…which I won’t do that here because this is about dogs, not rabbits.

So back to the original topic, the dog park. If you have not heard of SniffSpot, it is an online platform to locate and book private dog parks and play areas. I had an area that was perfect for dog play, so I decided to make this available to dogs and their humans in honor of all the happiness and love my dogs brought to me through the years. It is a good way to share some good canine (and human) vibes. 🙂
